Remember that all individuals aged 18 and over, residing in Italy, and providing all the necessary information at the time of registration, can become holders of CartaFRECCIA.

CartaFRECCIA Benefits
For every euro spent on your travels with Frecce, Eurocity, and Euronight (for the Italian route only), you accumulate 1 CartaFRECCIA point.
The accumulated points allow you to enjoy services and products from the railway company's partners and access discounts and reward tickets.
With CartaFRECCIA Young and Senior, you get even more benefits and discounts on train tickets. You just need to be under 30 or over 60 to qualify for them.
How to Earn CartaFreccia Points?
You can earn CartaFreccia points every time you travel with Trenitalia and use your CartaFreccia during ticket booking or purchase. Points are awarded based on the type of train, travel class, and fare. The more you travel, the more points you'll accumulate for future rewards and discounts. How to Use My CartaFreccia Points?
The points accumulated on your CartaFreccia can be used to obtain rewards such as free tickets or discounts on your future travels with Trenitalia. During booking, you will have the option to use the points to lower the ticket cost or to gain additional benefits, such as access to discounted fares.
How to Use CartaFreccia on Kombo
Step 1: In the search bar, click on "passenger".
Step 2: Click on "Discount cards"
Step 3: Add your CartaFreccia number
Step 4: Done! Now, your CartaFreccia is registered and can be used to accumulate points!
CartaFreccia Young and CartaFreccia Senior
CartaFreccia Young is dedicated to travelers aged 14 to 25, offering them special rates and exclusive benefits. While CartaFreccia Senior is reserved for passengers over 60 years of age, with benefits designed specifically for the needs of this age group, such as discounts and concessions.
CartaFreccia Status
CartaFreccia offers different status categories based on the frequency and quantity of trips taken. These statuses, such as "Silver," "Gold," and "Platinum," offer increasing benefits, such as higher discounts, priority in bookings, and access to dedicated waiting rooms. Achieving a higher status depends on the points accumulated through your journeys.
CartaFreccia Expiry
CartaFreccia does not expire, but the accumulated points do. Check your balance and the expiry date of your points within your CartaFreccia profile on the Trenitalia website.
CartaFreccia rewards
Free Tickets
You can request your ticket starting from 1000 points. The ticket is valid for single routes. There are 3 types of tickets:
Small: for rail distances of 250km
Medium: for rail distances between 251 and 650km
Large: for rail distances of over 651km
10-Trip Carnet
If you make frequent trips on the same route served by Freccia trains, you might find the 10-trip Carnet appealing. This reward is personalized, and reservations are valid exclusively for the Carnet holder.
Starting from 7000 points, you will have access to the 10-trip Carnet on the same route. You will need to use it within a 6-month period.
Class Upgrade
If you have already purchased a ticket and want to treat yourself to a higher level of service, you can do so starting from 500 points! Additionally, Trenitalia gives you a free first upgrade.
The upgrade can be done as follows:
From Second to First class (500 points)
From Standard to Business (500 points)
From Business to Executive (1000 points)
Frecce Gift Card
You can use your points to request a gift card dedicated to Frecce with vouchers ranging from €25 to €150. The Gift Card lasts for 10 years and can be used to purchase tickets, subscriptions, or Carnets for Frecce.
The rules for the Frecce Gift Card Prize are the same as those for the Trenitalia Gift Card, with the difference that it can only be used for Frecce travel.
Access to FRECCIALounge or FRECCIAClub
Starting from 600 points, you can access the reserved areas and enjoy their respective services, only within the 4 hours prior to the departure time of the purchased train and subject to their opening hours. The reward entrance can be used only once and is valid for 6 months.
Rewards Catalog
Starting from 700 points, you can access the Freccia Collection Card and choose one of the rewards available to you from Trenitalia's catalog. You can choose from products, clothing, experiences, and even online courses.
