Can I take the train with Flixbus?

Are minors allowed to travel unaccompanied?
Children and adolescents of 16 years of age must be accompanied by persons with parental authority. For travel by adolescents aged 16 and 17 from France to foreign countries, persons with parental authority must ensure that the adolescents carry with them all the documents and papers necessary to cross the border (national identity card or passport).
How to travel with a baby on Flixbus?
Infants up to 3 years old may only be transported in child seats. These seats must be secured during the journey with the bus seat belts. As for the child seats, it is up to you to bring them with you. For more information about transporting children on Flixbus, please visit their website.
Does the company Flixbus offer a service for people with disabilities?
Flixbus suggests that people with disabilities should contact them at least 36 hours before the journey to indicate a foldable wheelchair, guide dog or companion. Just remember to bring your Disability Card with specification of the need for an assistant when boarding a bus.

Do I have to print my tickets?
No, it is not necessary to print your ticket to travel. However, an electronic version of the ticket is required. The PDF format that you receive by e-mail is very suitable. In case of a battery mishap, don't worry, you will be able to confirm with your name on the reservation with the driver, however you will need to bring your ID with you.
What identification documents do I need to travel with Flixbus?
A valid identity document (national identity card, passport, residence permit, etc.) that corresponds to your ticket is required to board the Flixbus. Also think about other documents that may be necessary on international roads (visa, exit permit, passport, etc.).
How much time in advance should I arrive before the departure?
Flixbus recommends that you present yourself at the boarding gate at least 15 minutes before the departure of your bus.
What is the maximum luggage size for the Flixbus?
You can take with you, and free of charge, 1 hand luggage (backpack, pocket, travel bag, your guitar...) and 1 hold luggage per passenger.
Hand luggage must be less than 42 x 30 x 18 cm and weigh no more than 7 kg. Don't panic, there is more tolerance than on the plane.
Hold baggage must be less than 80 x 50 x 30 cm and weigh up to 20 kg.

Can I bring my pet?
For security reasons, Flixbus does not accept the transport of animals, except for guide dogs accompanying visually or audibly impaired people (which must be declared 36 hours at the latest to the Flixbus hotline). Our cats and dogs must, therefore, as a rule, stay at home.
Where is the bus station for the Flixbus?
The address of the bus station corresponding to your departure and destination locations is indicated on your tickets. Please note that some cities have several bus and train stations, or do not have their bus and train stations in the same place. This is why Kombo makes sure that the place of departure is clearly indicated in order to avoid unpleasant surprises, as soon as you book online.
Can I change / cancel my ticket?
Flixbus tickets can be cancelled with a fee. The exact amount of these fees is indicated in the aftersales on the Kombo website. One of the main reasons to book a Flixbus bus is the fact that you can cancel your ticket up to 15 minutes before departure. After this period, it is no longer possible to cancel your ticket. If you want to change the date of the trip, however, it's a different matter! You will have to cancel your ticket to receive a refund and order a new one (unfortunately if your new ticket is more expensive than the old one, you will have to pay the difference between the two tickets).
