What is the G30 SNCF guarantee?
The G30 SNCF Guarantee is compensation offered by SNCF Voyageurs to compensate you in the event of a delay in your trip by TGV Inoui or Intercités train. “G30” is shorthand for “30-Minute Guarantee”, so the guarantee allows you to obtain compensation in the event of a delay of more than 30 minutes at the arrival at your final destination.
The G30 SNCF Guarantee therefore offers you the possibility of requesting a partial refund of the price of your ticket. You can request your compensation online via the SNCF customer service website.
How does the G30 SNCF guarantee work?

G30 allows you to obtain compensation when you have undergone a delay of more than 30 minutes at the arrival at your final destination on a TGV Inoui or Intercités trip, whatever the reason for the delay (breakdown, weather conditions, etc.).
Amount of the compensation
The amount of the compensation depends on the duration of the delay:
Between 30 minutes and 2 hours late : 25% of the price of your ticket.
Between 2 and 3 hours late : 50% of the ticket price
More than 3 hours late : 75% of the ticket price

The online G30 compensation request is possible from the arrival of the train and up to 90 days afterwards. Please note, remember to keep your ticket as it will be necessary to complete the form.
The compensation
Reimbursement can be done in 2 forms:
SNCF Digital voucher (BAD) usable on a future trip with TGV Inoui or Intercités
Bank transfer if the delay is more than 60 minutes. You will then have to provide your bank information to SNCF.
On which trains is it valid?
The guarantee is offered on TGV Inoui and Intercités journeys. It is unfortunately not applicable for any journey operated by Ouigo, TER, Thalys, Eurostar etc.
But don't worry, every company offers compensation in the event of a train delay. It's just that these rules are set outside the G30 guarantee.
How do I use my digital voucher on Kombo?
If your train is delayed for less than 60 minutes, compensation will be in the form of a digital voucher.
To use it on Kombo, simply enter the reference indicated on the voucher in the “promo code” field provided for, at the time of payment. The amount of the digital voucher will then be automatically deducted from the amount of your order.
